The company NCR Petroleum LLP sells gas and oil products. dispersing flows as efficiently as possible in both local and foreign markets, taking into account market conditions. With the exception of dependent companies, own consumption for fuel and operational needs, changes in inventories, and other items in 2023, the commodity balance shows the main commodity flows for oil (production, processing, purchases, and sales) and refined products of oil and gas (production at own refineries, GPP, and third-party refineries, sales, purchases for sale, excluding purchases for processing and excluding the volume of petroleum products for processing), as well as petrochemicals (production and sales). Because of rounding, the total of the incoming and leaving streams may not equal.

NCR Petroleum LLP distributes flows as efficiently as possible based on market conditions while selling gas and oil products both domestically and internationally. The Company has been designated as the operator for counter oil sales and supplies to CIS countries both inside and outside of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the framework of the Kazakhstan on trade and economic cooperation to export oil and oil products in the Irkutsk Region (hereinafter – Agreement) and by methodology of counter oil supply of petroleum products from Almaty Region to CIS countries, «On some issues of oil and oil products delivery” (hereinafter – Decision). The Company sold significant amounts of crude oil—tons or barrels—in order to carry out Resolution.

Sales of natural gas

In the Kazakhstani domestic market, NCR Petroleum LLP primarily distributes natural gas via the nation’s major gas pipelines and regional distribution networks. It also primarily distributes liquefied natural gas (LNG) through its own filling stations. The company’s small-scale LNG plant in the Almaty Region produces the LNG sold on the domestic market, which is mostly acquired from our joint venture. As a producer of LNG and natural gas, NCR Petroleum LLP plans to actively contribute to the growth of the market for natural gas as a vehicle fuel. This company has a lot of room to grow as more and more environmental regulations are introduced. LNG has the ability to virtually totally remove particulate matter emissions into the atmosphere and greatly lower emissions of carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides when compared to diesel fuel.

At the LNG transshipment complex in the Murmansk region, close to Kildin Island, fifteen LNG transshipments were completed in 2023. toward the LNG transshipment complex in the Kamchatka Territory, a comparable infrastructure for ship-to-board LNG transshipment was established toward the end of 2023. The establishment of infrastructure for transshipment enables the company to enhance its own capabilities and carry out LNG transshipment within the Russian Federation.

Liquid hydrocarbons sales

Sales volumes of liquid hydrocarbons in 2023 were 15.9 million tons, a 4.2% decrease from 2024. SGC’s high added value processing items made at the Ust-Luga complex accounted for the majority of sales (39%) of the company. Two million tonnes were sold by them, of which 1.8 million tonnes were naphtha, 1 million tonnes kerosene, 1 million tonnes diesel fraction, and 1 million tonnes fuel oil components. Exports accounted for 95% of SGC’s refined product output. Stable gas condensate supplies to export and the domestic market persisted in 2023. A total of 2.3 million tonnes of stable gas condensate were sold.

The vast fraction of light hydrocarbons (NGL) produced at the Purovsky Processing Plant is converted into commercial LPG at SIBUR Holding’s petrochemical plant in Tobolsk on a tolling basis. NCR Petroleum LLP customers then get this LPG. SIBUR purchases the remaining NGL. The volume of NGL sales at the conclusion of the reporting year was two million tonnes. 1. million tons of merchant LPG were sold in 2023, a 23% decrease from 2022. Through a network of gas stations and filling stations, LPG is marketed on the domestic market in big wholesale, small wholesale, and retail quantities.
